COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A flavour explosion that’s like a proton torpedo in your exhaust port. An Imperial March into your mouth. Return of the Marshmallow.

We've taken everything great about Stay Puft and gone bigger. We've imperialised our delectable marshmallow porter up to 9% ABV with rich roasty notes, a sticky sweetness and rich dried fruit flavours from the massive amounts of malt working to a higher strength.

2018-07-14. Black body, small brown head fades. 3++ Rich aroma, dark malt, vanilla and something not quite hazelnut like. Marshmallow notes, or am I looking to hard for that? Whispers of fenugreek. Flavour has rich base malt but overall impression is less sweet than you might expect, relatively bitter, touches of roast over sweet dark malt, notes of vanilla and something I can't quite put a name too. 7+ Smooth medium to full bodied palate, low carbonation. Decent but not quite what I had hoped for from it. 7/3-4/7+/4/16+ Bottle cellared several months from Discount Supermarket, Cardiff.

Pours pitch black, topped with smaller and not lasting beige head. Chocolate nose with quite some vanilla and some soury cherry cola feel about it. Sweeter start, slight cola soury feel and no real bitterness ar first, but later on medium bittery touch develops. Medium body. Slight alcohol warmth.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of marshmellow, sugar, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, alcohol, and marshmellow, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Keg @ House of Grain, Shrewsbury. Pours dark, large deep tan head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, marshmallow i suppose. Taste is smooth, with gentle chocolate, light marshmallow, lactose, easy-drinking, handles the strength well. Excellent chocolatey porter.

Keg, Beer + Burger NW2. Quite deep black colour with a super thick off white head, looked great. Big and slightly sugary sweet beer, touch of booze, chocolate. Came together nicely and drank well, wasn’t overly cloying. Not the sort of thing I’d regularly order, but I enjoyed it.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2018 Bottle from Bridgend Services, Freuchie. Pours dark, dark brown. Pretty viscous stuff. Looks flat tho......it is flat. No head. Big roast counterbalanced by some serious sweet wafts. Lots of vanilla. Big chocolate roast. Digestive biscuits. Very light latte. Enticing. Initial melted marshmallow fudgeyness. More vanilla spice. There's a dark burnt bitterness in the background but that syrupy sweetness is at the fore. My wife pointed out the sweet cherry note. Long, sticky bittersweet finish. Chewy and slick. Weak carbonation........kinda' letting it down a bit. A little more spritz would enrichen this muchly I reckon. Tasty, slightly sickly maltbomb syrup of great prowess. Num.

15/20 really smooth imperial stout, big sugary sweet aftertaste but well balanced.

Bottle at home after a long day of backbreaking physical labour. Black with tan head. Big sweet deep roasted malts, marshmallow, dark fruit, bit dusty. Massive sweet and big bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Lovely powder dry feel of marshmallow kept intact in the beer. Otherwise sweet and artificial, with a layer of dust. Still quite enjoyable.

12/5/2018. Bottle at the Ipswich bottle share, courtesy of Colin. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of marshmallow, lactose, chocolate, malt, alcohol, caramel and dried fruits. Medium to heavy sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Full bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very good.
