UPDATED: JUL 31, 2022 On tap @ Beer Revolution. Pours black with a thick tan head. Reminds me of a chocolate milkshake. A lot of bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon. There's a bit of a tangy berry and berry skin quality to it, though not obviously strawberry. Gives a slight acidity and tartness. Also has sort of a fudgy sweetness to it as well. Pretty decent dessert beer.

Dark colour, close to black. It's like a mid-range fruit chocolate praline, it's sweet, may be good for people that like that specific chocolate, but not really what I look in a beer.
Over the top.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 355ml can @ the office. Pours a mostly opaque brown with a thin tan head. Nose is tart strawberries upront, and then bourbon barrels. Flavour is pithy strawberries and moderate bourbon barrels. Light to medium bodied, mild carbonation, and a moderate to high sweetness. It's ok.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 Dark roast and bourbon with vanilla and berry. A bit artificial. Jet brown with a small beige head. Sweet, berry artificial and a long finish. A bit disappointing.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 12oz can at Sales Force. Appearance: dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma: bourbon, strawberry jam, candies. Taste: along the same lines with nuts and chocolate notes. Overall: good.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of strawberry upfront, followed by bourbon barrels, and a little vanilla. Flavour is very fruity, with lots of pithy strawberries, light bourbon barrels, and chocolate. A bit confused, and I'm not totally sold on the strawberry vanilla component, but it's fun.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 Medium brown, no head. Mostly chocolatey on the nose, light strawberry. Weird, actually. Vanilla. Soft body, low on carbonation. It's really, if you're going to pick flavours, these ones.

Can at Craig's. Pours black, nose is caramel, strawberry, fudge, chocolate cake, taste is sweet toffee, caramel, vanilla, quite sweet, juicy strawberry, a little thin.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2018 Can: Poured a black with bubble head. Aroma is strong alcohol boozy. Taste is light vanilla, sticky, boozy.
