UPDATED: MAR 20, 2023 Draught@TCBW20222. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted tones, some liquorice, cocoa, mild borbon and a bit chocolaty tones too. Flavour is chocolate, liquorice, vanilla and some cocoa. Also a wee bit of alcohol. Smooth palate.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2022 Tap at Multi Qlti Tap Bar, Krakow, Poland. Pours dark brown, practically black, with basically no foam. Aroma is intense of bourbon, chocolate, molasses, figs. Body is dense, with nice little tickling carbonation, a little oily, and sticky. Taste is intense, roasty and sweet. Final is long, pleasant, sweet.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2020 Tap at Mad House. Jet black pour, no head. Nose is vanilla, obvious bourbon, light wood, coffee, booze. Taste is sweet booze, coffee, vanilla, molasses. Closes with long lasting sweet finish, has a light to medium body and soft carbo. A bit one dimensional and some more body wouldnt have hurt but undoubtedly pleasant.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2020 2018 version. bottle from beerbay online shop spain. pitch dark, nearly no head. aroma is extraordinarily nice, bourbon, roasted malts, a little salt, some wood, but mainly bourbon and roasted malts. it seems like the sweetness there is, is from bourbon. real nice bourbon BA aroma. not much bitterness. flavor is roasted malts, wood, salt licorice, cocoa, bourbon. very well balanced and blended, some alc. bitterness in the end. This is an absoluteliy world class bourbon BA imp stout. one of the more easy drinking of its kind, but really well balanced. re rate dec 2020 , just as great as the first one.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2020 Edition 2018. Dark brown, almost black with minimal brown head. Very nice aroma rich of winey bourbon notes. Sweet-sour winey taste followed by mild roasted grain bitterness, bourbon, dark bread, dried plums notes.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2020 Bottle. Bourbon oak, more vanilla than coconut, cigar, chocolate, amaretto cookies, creamy moughfeel witha sharpish, distillate-infused finish. Subtly tart and tannic, well executed. Superb.
