Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca porta note di miele, caramello, pane, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, nocciola, frutta secca, agrumi, mandarino, erbe e frutta disidratata.

A light and subtle black lager, watery, dry malt, a bit roasty, more intense at the final, a bit smocked, note of coffee, a bit fruity, some hop and bitterness at the.final.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2023 Poured from 333mL bottle (lot number stamped 06/10/22). Near black with small light beige head. Light molasses, feint toasted character in the background, fairly thin bodied. Okay.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2023 Nearly black. Light head. Has sort of a worty, molassesy type of dark malt aroma. Full body. Similar palate. Sweet, pleasant, like alcoholic malta. Not complex, but drinkable enough.

Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and toasted nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and toasted nuts, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, a little earthy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good classic Schwarzbier, absolutely on point.
