UPDATED: MAR 15, 2023 Canned (from Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toffee, smoked and mild chocolaty tones with liquorice too. Flavour is nutty, smoked, roasted, some chocolaty and liquorice tones. Nicely dry fermented takes away the stinging sweetness. Very very nice.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2023 330ml can bought from djoeye. The oily pour reveals a tan head with big bubbles over a near-black body, spotty lacing. Promising aromas of roasted chocolate malts. Flavoured with caraamel-chocolate, hints of liquorice, and dark bread. Roasted bitter ending, boozy. Well bodied. Pretty good. (Tromsø 28.01.2023).

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2023 330ml can (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki) (6:5:6:3:13=3.3) Basically black. Initially hard to pull a head, but once I'd cracked the surface tension, it built up a lovely tight beige head, even creamy at the bottom, and spongier at the top - my absolute favourite head! Sweet and savoury aroma. There's the treacly sweetness, but there's a soyey-seaweedy-umami-ish thing going on too. Full palate, smooth, a little sweet and sticky, but not slick or heavy. Sweet treacly roast, quite burnt, and bitter therefrom. After that, it's a little bit dull; a sweet burnt finish; erm, yeah, you could have guessed that anyway. Alcohol easily covered behind that sweetness. Beers that make you go 'hmmm...???'.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2022 Strong, averagely balanced nuances of roasted malts, some rubber, dry licorice. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, mixed up and raw, slightly distinctive though. No go. 7 4 6 4 13

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2022 0,1l on tap @ SOPP Helsinki 2022. Pours very dark brown with a low tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with some dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, dark chocolate, hops. Tasty.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2022 Can bought at Alko Arkadia, Helsinki in August 2021. Black with a large tan head. Licorice, chocolate, coffee and dark malt. Some bitterness in the finish. A pleasant one.
