Pours clear almost colourless, with just a light yellowy green, and a small frothy white head. Aroma is lime, citrus, merest hint of mint. Quite sweet, low bitterness, slight minty edge develops. Light body, quite fizzy. It's okay. The additional sticker label on the bottle reveals 16 of these were shipped to the Awards and entered in the category Flavoured Beer Herb & Spice. Pours clear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing. Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a slightly chemical soapy scent. Sweet pale malts, bread and cardboard. Detergent. Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and lightly tingling texture. Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong and watery bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry. Generic macro lager. But it gets points for being little bit bitter. Tuesday, July 18, 2023
