labeerinthum	3.6 Galway Bay Dream Awake Lattina. Il naso viene catturato dal luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato torbido. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono sentori di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas e pesca. Sunday, May 12, 2024

Theydon_Bois	3.8 Galway Bay Quantum Flux Can on the 1650 Enterprise from Connolly to Dundalk, picked up from Brew Dock, 03/11/23. Golden orange with a good sized just off white head. Nose is mixed tropical fruit esters, pine resin, guava, mandarin, juicy citric flesh. Taste comprises stoned fruits, pine needle, guava, papaya, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking DIPA if a touch overly sweet but Jesus .. deserves more than the 3.26 it had achieved when I landed on it ... mix of CM's and HH's shat on this one! Thursday, May 9, 2024

Al naso note tostate, leggermente speziate, caffè, cioccolato, cannella. In bocca è equilibrata, spettacolare gioco di malti, abboccata, cioccolato, con note dolci, leggermente amare e acide, leggerissima speziatura, peperoncino tenuto a casa magnificamente, uno spettacolo. BlackHaddock	3.8 Galway Bay Resin & Rye 440ml can from KWM Wines: BB 6th March 2025, drank at home on 26th April 2024; last beer in a mini-tasting with myself. Clear copper pour, light off-white head. Resin and Rye in the nose, taste also heavy on Rye with a piney hop bite, some caramel sweetness tempers the bitterness and it all comes together nicely overall. Saturday, April 27, 2024

Light palate, a mild dryness, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, just about sweet enough. Fairly savoury hops, not that skunky. Juicy hop fruits underneath, some modern Mosaic candy fruits peeping through the savoury hop at the end. Mild hop spice. Unusually savoury. Sunday, April 21, 2024

jybi	4.1 Galway Bay Morning Afterglow Voici un Oatmeal Breakfast Stout bien fait et qu'apprécieront les amateurs du genre. Celui-ci intègre dans sa recette du cacao péruvien et du café guatémaltèque le visuel présente une robe noire avec une très fine effervescence donnant naissance à une fine couche de mousse brune. Joli nez, relativement brut sur le café et le chocolat avec une pointe de charbon. A la dégustation on découvre une densité moyenne mais avec une belle présence en bouche. Sur l'attaque c'est une jolie alliance malt/houblon que l'on découvre, l'amertume donnant de la fraicheur mais également des notes d'agrumes. De la réglisse s'ajoute également à la palette aromatique. Sur la deuxième bouche, l'amertume prend un peu un peu plus de place avec de jolis arômes. L’arrière-bouche est légèrement brouillonne avec les arômes d'agrumes liés au houblon qui dérange alors quelque peu. Le final est quant à lui en deux temps, présentant d'abord l'amertume avant de laisser place au malt d'une façon gourmande. Sympathique. Wednesday, April 17, 2024

I find this beer at a score of 2.65 as I begin to rate. 2 things to note ... don't ever drink beer at Barley & Bait ... radiator aging program ??? And Angel77 ... quit your shithead tick system and stop dragging score down you fucking melt! Murky pineapple smoothie yellow meets orange with a good sized lasting frothy white head. Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, pine resin, mango, pineapple, hop spice, soft malts, papaya. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit esters, raw pineapple, light mineral strokes, grapefruit, pine needle, spruce tips, dank chimes, Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juice laden come danko hop bitterness allied to a light boost. jybi	3.9 Galway Bay Dream Awake Galway Bay nous propose ici une IPA avec un double houblonnage à cru avec en houblon Nelson Sauvin, Idaho 7 et Strata. Le visuel est sur un blond jaune trouble avec une mousse blanche de 3 mm. Le nez est sur un cocktail de pamplemousse, d'ananas, de noix de coco et d'herbes. Le Nelson Sauvin s'exprime peu. A la dégustation, si l'attaque est bien vive, les herbes sont moins présentes mais sans que ce soit désagréable. La complexité est honorable et sur la deuxième les herbes prennent tout de même l'ascendant. L’arrière-bouche est quant à elle bien dynamique et amère. Le final est quant à lui décevant et très court. Pour un style que je trouve compliqué car l'houblonnage à cru prend souvent trop l'ascendant, cette Dream Awake n'est pas si mal que cela même si celle-ci n'est pas entièrement aboutie.
