PorterPounder	3.4 Vinos Fat Old Bastard 3/12/23 - Little Rock, AR - on tap at Vino's. Medium brown pour, light, but long lasting bone colored head. Sweet aroma, hints of molasses, some nectarine fruitiness. Sweetness carries over to the flavor, some brown sugar, molasses, a touch of nectarine fruitiness. Thick enough mouthfeel. PorterPounder	3.7 Vinos Ouachita ESB 2/20/22 - Little Rock, AR - on tap at Vino's. Dark orange-brown pour with a frothy, creamy bone-colored head with nice lace. Sweet, malty aroma with hints of brown sugar and toffee. Flavor conveys much of the same, some candied citrus bitterness adds to the brown sugar sweetness. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Crisp, clean flavor, some butterry accents, a touch of nuttiness. Crisp mouthfeel. Went well with the pizza. Sunday, February 20, 2022

Pretty much a neutral aroma, hint of spearmint if I had to pin it down. Light citrus bitterness, some brief caramel malty notes. Standard fare. Thick enough mouthfeel. Sunday, April 11, 2021

Slight staleness to the flavor, some caramel, a hint of chocolate, raisin sweetness in the background. Chewy mouthfeel. Friday, June 14, 2019

Solid old fashioned Porter flavor. Strong and bitter, some day old cold coffee, a touch of topsoil just a hint of baker's unsweetened chocolate. Nice chalky mouthfeel. PorterPounder approved. Crisp flavor, some buttery notes, spent grain, touch of nuttiness. Crisp mouthfeel. Good companion to the calzone I had. Friday, May 17, 2019

Dogbrick	3.4 Vinos Pinnacle IPA Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, earthy hop and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall. Monday, July 31, 2017

Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Decent overall. Monday, July 31, 2017

Malt, fruit and mild hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruity hop aftertaste. Average overall. Monday, July 31, 2017

Malt, corn and mild hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt, wheat, corn and slight hops. The finish is creamy with a malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. Slight pine cone hoppiness that gets dominated by sticky sweet caramel. Heavy and ruddy on the palate. Needs some tweaks. Saturday, September 27, 2014

onceblind	4 Vinos Lazyboy Stout Deep black pour with a thin light beige head. The nose is of roasted black malts and a touch of smokey coffee. The taste is rich and deep with lots of chocolaty sweetness and a touch of smokey caramel, with some vanilla-ish coffee roastiness throughout. Nicely complex, even though it tastes like they were trying to be simple with it. A little light but nicely rounded. Tuesday, October 29, 2013
onceblind	4 Vinos Pinnacle IPA Clear copperish with a thin foamy/rocky white head. The nose has a ton of caramel but also a ton of pine resin and grapefruit rind zest. Smells a lot like weed too. Taste is nice and citrusy sweet at the start with a little piney/floral bitterness, leading into a chewy grainy caramalt tone. Finishes with a kiss of nutty toffee with, also, some grassiness. onceblind	3.7 Vinos Saison Semi clear gold with a thin white cap. Nose immediately has a spot of bubblegum and clove with hay and sweet blonde malts with a bit of dusty Belgian funk. The flavor is nice and grainy blonde with a certain chewiness, some dull lemon zest, and a creamy pilsner malt/Belgian fruitiness. Really neat and clean. Tuesday, October 29, 2013
onceblind	3.9 Vinos Octoberfest Clear crayon orange with a thin foamy white head. Smells like a good cracker malt-sweet grainy toffee marzen. The flavor is spot on and a bit fuller than I was expecting. Nice toasted English muffin flavor with a bit of clean grains and chewy toffee nuttiness. Very nicely done! Tuesday, October 29, 2013
onceblind	3.1 Vinos Firehouse Pale Ale Clear amber with a thin white foamy head. The nose is a bit hard to detect but there’s a nice calm citrus hoppiness. The flavor is light and clean with a biscuity pale malt body and a clean and balanced/low bitterness with a little leafy tone. It’s a bit forgettable and light, perhaps made for the generic beer crowd without stooping to the pale lager level. Tuesday, October 29, 2013

The taste is like a decent wheat beer, with mild biscuity doughiness, mixed with a decent amber ale, with chewy grainy pale toffee and crystal malts. A bit biscuity and chewy overall.
