Strykzone	2.8 Buckner Porter Sampled at the brewpub. This is clear and looks more like a cola than a porter except with more red. A thin creamy tan head. Light roasted notes with grain. Really thin flavor. Call it coffee. Friday, June 15, 2012

Strykzone	2.9 Buckner Pale Ale Sampled at the brewpub. Clear gold with a small white head. Soft malt and floral hops are smelled. This is sweet and has gentle bitterness. Bif	3.2 Buckner Pale Ale On tap- Served a copper color with a nice head and good lacing. Aroma of citrus , fresh grain and bit of caramel. Taste of hops with a mild caramel sweetness. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Fairly medium body, smooth and refreshing. Nice balance with a 6% ABV. Decent beer that went well with my meal at the brewpub. Friday, May 11, 2012

Narnad	3.5 Buckner IPA An orange golden color with a very thick creamy head that sticks around a looooooong time. Aroma has a pine hops presence with some faint citrus and caramel endings. Beer is highly carbonated and really delivers the flavors well. Flavor starts off with some nice pine/resiny notes, solid grapefruit citrus tastes, a great amount of hops bitterness with a very solid malty compliment of caramel malt at the end. Overall this is by far their best beer with a great hops flavor that really stands out but the aroma could do a bit better with some dry hop additions, this would really make it a great beer. Narnad	2.4 Buckner Honey Wheat A very light clear golden color with no head and served with a lemon. Mild wheat aroma with a lemon and light sweetness from the honey (I guess). Wheat is in the flavor as well as some light citrus and finishes with a slight sourness. Overall the flavor is okay but there is NO density to it and it is completely missing they yeast that would really make this a decent beer. Not one I would have again. Monday, July 13, 2009
Narnad	2.9 Buckner Pale Ale Clear, golden color with a thick white, small foamy head that leaves great lacing. Aroma has a light MO biscuit maltiness and some light citrus and grassy hop notes. MO malty flavor is excellent with a very mild bitterness imparted from a citrus note. Overall this beer reminds me more of an English Ordinary Bitter/English Pale ale style rather than an APA. Narnad	2.7 Buckner Amber Amber in color with a low white head that is kept up with a moderate carbonation rate. Slight smokiness in the aroma with a light caramel and fruity note at the end. Flavor has some MO malt in there with a light caramel and grassy hops note with the beer finishing with a good sweet malty ending. Overall an okay brew with a decent for the amber style. Narnad	2.7 Buckner Belgian Witbier Arrived in the sampler tray a golden color with a modestly thick and creamy head. Very light spicy aroma with a very faint grainy and wheat note. A light citrus, wheat notes with a watery flavor and an overall weak flavor. Overall nothing really there to offend and kinda bland for the style. Monday, July 13, 2009

hayduke	2.8 Buckner Pale Ale On draft from the brewpub in Cape Girardeau, MO. It came in pint glass a rich orange to gold color with a small white head.Nose of caramel malts and some floral hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is very odd. Some kind of spice which I assume comes from the hops. Finish is dry. Overall a somewhat odd brew though drinkable. Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Light bodied and super smooth. This is all night smoothness. Light candy honey malts. Little to no bitterness. Slight effervescence. The palate is quite similar from start to finish. Anise pepper and dark chocolate, touch toffee. Nice nose. Medium bodied and smooth malts. Cocoa flavors and slightly smokey. Good flavors of cookie and cola. Fudgy. Solid. Maybe a touch light bodied for the style. Syrupy and cocoa. Another nice offering. Medium coffee roast and toasty anise flavors. Good drinkability. Medium bodied and really nice. Good effervescence. Citrus cookie malt flavor. Good bitter acidity but nicely balanced. Really nice rolling palate. Orange citrus flavors mixed with doughy cookies. Nice serving temperature. Light to medium bodied with mild effervescence. Nice citrus blast with a touch dry body. Orange grainy flavors and slightly sticky. jefcon	3.8 Buckner IPA A light, crisp brown in color wilth a varied lacing that really clings to the glass. Beery aromas that accent an apricot-ish hopcit and warm malts. A soapy, sharp bite greets the palate and settles in on the tongue. Lots of warming malts and a long, bitter finish. Exceptional hops on the palate. A very good, strong IPA. Terminus	2.4 Buckner Pale Ale tap at augusta bottoms beerfest alongside vyvvy. light orange with a small foamy white head. wierd aromas here-dusty and definately somewhat oxidized with some light hops. flavors go nowhere-badly dusty malts with some soggy notes as well. body is thin and watery with no substance whatsoever. could have been the worst beer at the fest (other than the amber ale that vyvvy had from some winery present at the fest). vyvvy	2.5 Buckner Porter Sampled at Augusta Bottoms Beer Festival 2006. My second and last from the brewery at the Fest. Pours deep brown with a tan soapy head. The aroma has sour mellon and some roastiness. The body is watery and there is very little carbonation. The taste has sour fruitiness and chocolate. The finish is sour and roasty. Not a good porter. vyvvy	2.4 Buckner Pale Ale Sampled at Augusta Bottoms Beer Festival 2006. Not the best sample of the day by far. Poured lightly hazy yellow with a small unattractive head. Aroma has dusty malts and spicy hops. The body is thin and watery with not much carbonation to speak of. The initial taste is watery dusty malts. The finish has a good amount of spicy hops for a small period then it is back to the watery taste. Overall a bad pale - the flash of spicy hops right at the beginning of the finish is nice, but that is about all. Saturday, October 7, 2006
Philip	3.4 Buckner Porter On tap at Buckner. Solid, but not overwhelming. Pours a proper porter color with a diminishing head. What’s lacking here is the hops. Its most semi-sweet chocolate with some alcohol on the finish, but I would have never guessed 7.5 (I suppose that’s a good thing in some regards.) There’s just not much of a finish here, and the flavors aren’t all that strong. I think its an easy drinking porter. Its good, not spectacular. Sunday, August 20, 2006
