For the very first time, the "Festival der Bierkulturen" takes place in Cologne, near the station "Ehrenfeld". It is organized by Peter Esser, brewer of Braustelle.
There will be around 10 different micro breweries, e.g. Alvinne, Braustelle, Revelation Cat, Weyermann and two beer shops.

You can find a guided tasting, a live brewing session and a contest for the best beer, which is brewed ignoring the German Reinheitsgebot.

Supporters are the KG Bier e.V. and the information magazine Bier & Brauhaus.
