October and beer go hand-in-hand and Sandestin is celebrating this hoppy beverage with the 3rd annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival at Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 2-6 p.m. Known as the “Best Beer Fest on the Emerald Coast,” the popular festival features 40 on-site craft brewers, over 100 domestic and international beers, seminars and samplings and live music. Beer novices to beer lovers will be able to sample domestic and international options, including specialty, seasonal and not-yet-released beers. Tickets purchased before October 22 are $20 per person (Day of event price is $25 per person). In addition to the beer festival, a VIP Tasting will be offered Friday, October 22nd for $15 per person. Also featured on Friday night is a beer walkabout and menu pairing for $35 per person at Marlin Grill. The weekend’s activities will also include Vettes at the Village featuring more than 200 corvettes from around the Southeast. And for those who want to brew up a weekend getaway, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers a “Buy Two Nights Get One Free” special package.
