Meet Dougal Sharp, legendary Brewmaster & Founder of Innis & Gunn, Saturday at Half Time noon to 3pm. Dougal will be on hand to discuss his adventures in making beer and love for pairing beer with food. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet this creative master of brewing.

The tasting will include 2 Innis & Gunn beers including Original oak-aged, which is like no other. Their pioneering production process is unique and a world first. In fact, it was discovered by accident! Using oak to age beer is unheard of. But, the flavors imparted by the oak barrels (previously used to mature bourbon) lend an incredible depth of taste. Think vanilla, toffee and orange aromas, with a malty, lightly oaked palate; soothing and warm in the finish. There is nothing like this among mass produced beers.

Also featured at Half Time will be Innis & Gunn Rum Cask Finish oak-aged beer. We are delighted to present this unique limited bottling of Innis & Gunn finished in oak barrels which previously contained navy rum. Maturation in special oak barrels imparts Navy rums with the sweet, spicy character for which they are renowned. "We have long wondered what flavors might be imparted by finishing it in these same barrels and earlier this year we decided to find out."
