First things first, I know how many of you play hooky from work on Friday afternoons. While some of us are slaving away until 5PM, you’re out drinking beer. As if you needed another excuse to cut out a little early and drink some beer, The Stable made the idea a bit sweeter.

From 2PM-6PM every Friday, the Stable is holding an event they’re calling, “Why go back to work Fridays?” During this very special happy hour, all draught beers will be 50% off. Sounds like a hell of a start to a weekend.

If you’re the kind of studious person that can’t cut out of work early on a Friday, how about a Saturday event instead? On Saturday, May 14th, The Stable will be hosting a Bell’s Brewery Night. Starting at 6PM, they’ll have a huge line-up of Bell’s beer on draught:

Bells 10,000
Bells Third Coast Old Ale, year and a half old
Rye Stout
Double Cream
Oarsmen
Porter
Two Hearted
Oberon
Scotch Ale
Consecrator

I’ve been told that’s the only keg of Rye Stout that made it into the state of Missouri. Bell’s Jim O’Connor will also be on hand for the festivities. So, if you can cut out early next Friday and attend the event on Saturday, that will make for a hell of a weekend.
