The Post-Dispatch’s unflappable cartoon mascot, Weatherbird, is turning 111 next month. ’Bird likes to party (and tweet), so we’re having a special Birdday Tweetup at the new 4 Hands Brewing Co. (1220 South Eighth Street). Join Weatherbird and friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 9. Dan Martin, who draws the Weatherbird every day in the P-D, will be on hand to make custom sketches for attendees. Admission is free, and RSVPs are welcomed here: http://birdday.eventbrite.com/ . Beer will be available to purchase from 4 Hands, and a food truck should be there to provide grub.
