Straight Outta Brussels: Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus on Draft + 5 Rare De la Senne Taps!

Though the capital of perhaps the most historically-renowned brewing nation, Brussels, does not harbor the large density of breweries one might suppose, there are a handful of small producers crafting among the most impressive ales around.

And two of our most favorite breweries do call Brussels home, so on this night, beginning at 6 pm, we are proudly showing off a number of their prized potables on draft...

The classic Cantillon Brewery has graciously sent us a keg from their very limited stock, and this is a doozy...Rose de Gambrinus! This famously funky and complex Lambic aged on fresh raspberries is rarely in DC at all...and hardly ever on draft!

And from a more recently established Bruxellois craft brewery, Brasserie De la Senne, comes a slew of fantastic brews, some of which have never-before-been-seen in DC! Look for the fantastically fresh Brussels Calling, a well-bittered Blond, as well as Jambe-de-Bois, a Tripel endowed with bold hop intensity!

There is no admission charge for this event and all Cantillon & De la Senne drafts will be priced individually in 4 oz. tasters and full-glass pours.

The Straight Outta Brussels Draft List:
Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus
De la Senne Brussels Calling
De la Senne Zwarte Piet (New 2012 Recipe)
De la Senne Jambe-de-Bois
De La Senne Stouterik
De La Senne Taras Boulba

Holy. Shit.

Fresh Taras Boulba out of the keg would almost be worth me flying to DC for this one.

Damn.
