We’re teaming up again with the San Diego State 20/30s Alumni Association. This time to celebrate San Diego Beer Week and Aztec football! What event can be more San Diego then this?

Come join us for a BeerNerdz blind tasting (a San Diego based company owned by an SDSU alum, even the pourers are alums!) featuring some of our favorite San Diego breweries while we cheer on the Aztec football team as they visit Boise St in a huge conference game. There will be food specials, prizes to the top contestants and a lot of fun!
We’ll be working hard leading up to the event to secure some of the best local beer around to feature for this special event. Check the BeerNerdz Facebook page for updates on the featured breweries.

This unique blind tasting allows the seasoned beer connoisseur as well as the beer novice to test his or her skills in a fun, social setting. Guests will be given a scorecard with tasting notes, brewery and beer names, alcohol percentage, and IBU’s (bitterness scale) to help figure out what beer’s what. Compete against other San Diego State Alums to see who can name the most San Diego beers correctly. It’s a great opportunity to sample and learn about some of San Diego’s best breweries in a comfortable environment.

Event includes scorecard, bottled water, crackers to help cleanse your palate, and of course a generous sampling of San Diego Brews.
