The folks behind LA’s famed food and drink pairing series, DioNicEss, are teaming up with Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach to host a zombie-themed meal on Dec. 9, featuring dishes related to the walking dead.

Each of the five (or more) courses will focus on the "chronological elements of transformation":

The cause
Death
Decomposition
Reanimation
BRAAAIIIINS!!
Bored with brains
Skeletal remains
The cure

Every dish will be paired with specially themed beers brewed specifically for the event by Beachwood BBQ & Brewing, Eagle Rock Brewery, Monkish Brewing Co., Phantom Carriage Brewery, TAPS Fish House & Brewery and The Bruery.
