Father’s Day Beer Tasting with Hilliard’s Beer

Details

Ryan Hilliard founded his microbrewery in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, not far from the original Redhook brewery, with an eye for aesthetics and a taste for great beer. They’re one of the only breweries in Washington to offer their beer in cans. This Friday we’ll be featuring four of Hilliard’s finest. On the lighter side are their classic German Pils and their single malt and single hopped Blonde ale with a malty body and refreshing dry finish. Next up is the classic Saison that’s true to its Belgian roots: A peppery, citrusy, hazy farmhouse ale with notes of baked bread and ripe pineapple. Last up is their hop-forward Amber ale. Its hoppiness comes through in the aroma and the medium body isn’t overwhelmingly bitter. It’s a well-rounded, sessionable brew that would pair nicely with pepperoni pizza.

Cost: $3
