The most ubiquitous and arguably most popular beer style this year has been the Saison or Farmhouse ale, largely in part to the diversity of flavor profiles that can be found in interpretations of this traditional French and Belgian beer style. In 2013 brewers from coast to coast have been brewing up new world interpretations and true-to-style versions of saisons and tonight we’re featuring four of the best from the states. Our tasting line up includes Baltimore’s Stillwater Artisanal Ales, Hood River’s Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, local favorite Pike Brewing and Missouri’s Boulevard.
