The South’s largest craft beer festival, once again, returns to Suwanee, Georgia. The 4th Annual 2014 Suwanee American Craft Beer Festival will be held on Saturday, March 15th in the beautiful, spacious Suwanee Town Center Park, from 1 – 5pm, VIP gates open at noon.

The Suwanee Beer Fest has become a tradition for thousands of beer lovers in the Metro Atlanta area and beyond, with some fans traveling as far away as California for the experience. There are over 250 craft beers in the lineup this year with some breweries featuring not-yet-released or seasonal brews and the VIP tent holding casks brewed exclusively for the festival. Live music, local brewery representatives and a variety of food vendors will be present to complete the festival experience.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 7th at noon at suwaneebeerfest.com. Ticket costs are $35 General Admission and $85 VIP. Tickets do sell out quickly and attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase in advance.

General Admission ticket-holders receive: unlimited tasting of over 250 beers, a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited access to all vendors and live entertainment.

VIP is limited to only 250 tickets and are expected to sell out the first day of sales. Ticket-holders receive: one hour early admission into the park, a private tasting and dining tent, catered food, a commemorative tasting glass, unlimited samples of over 250 beers, a 2014 Beer Fest t-shirt, samples of exclusive VIP casks, live entertainment and unlimited access to all areas of the festival.

Returning to the Beer Fest this year, in an even bigger and bolder fashion, is the Home Brew Competition sponsored by home-brewing supply company – Brew Depot. The Suwanee Beer Fest is opening the Home Brew Competition to 400 registrants who will be judged by professionals across all BJCP Beer categories (no meads or ciders). This competition has become nationally renowned as the 2012 Best of Show winner, Josh Rachel, went on to found Jekyll Brewing Company in 2013.

To continue with the last three year’s tradition, the 2014 Suwanee American Craft Beer Fest will donate a portion of all proceeds to Kingdom Kids, a Suwanee area nonprofit that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
