At Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel

The culminating event – Brews for the Big Rock – celebrates its 19th year, tapping up ales and lagers from as far away as Massachusetts and as close by as right up the road. The craft beer is served alongside island-style cuisine from the Big Island’s best restaurants. The sell-out event also features live music, hula and the ever popular Trash Fashion Show.

What began as a beer festival with the goal of raising awareness for recycling, enjoyed by a few hundred thirsty residents some 19 years ago, has blossomed into one of Kona’s most popular and profitable fundraising weekends. Dozens of community organizations work together to benefit each other while providing thousands of residents and visitors a chance to appreciate craft beer, island-style cuisine and spectacular live entertainment.
