ABOUT THE EVENT:



"An Oktoberfest celebration of live music, food, craft beers and wines along the lighted trails of Muskegon State Park -with a distinctive Michigan taste coupled with Bavarian flair."

Join us in an intimate setting amongst an expansive 400 acre complex enjoying an all day event celebrating Michigan and German cultures! Last years event saw over 1800 visitors!

$5.00 per person Children 6 & Under Free



Evening:

Muskegon Oktoberfest Taste Of The Trail -$10.00 advance, $15.00 day of, includes Oktoberfest Swag

This is a rain or shine all ages family-fun event. There will be several activities planned throughout the day for the whole family to enjoy as well as great food and drinks! Come on out and celebrate Muskegon’s own Oktoberfest!

Friday October 3rd

5PM-10PM HAHN FASS PARTEI – TAPPING OF THE KEGS!

This is a private tapping of the kegs party for all registered campers at Muskegon State Park and Pioneer County Park. Free admission.



Saturday October 4th

12PM-4PM » HANSEL AND GRETEL TASTE TRAIL

The whole family will enjoy a hike through the forest following the pebbles left behind by Hansel and Gretel to find their way home. Along this storybook journey participants will enjoy German and Michigan foods including Bavarian desserts and other sweet temptations from the Black Forest. While traveling along the trail, participants will also enjoy Bavarian and American inspired games for both kids and adults at various locations including Luge Track Pumpkin Roll, Striker, Moonwalks, Pumpkin Carving, Football Toss, Wheel Luge, and more.



5PM-9PM » MUSKEGON OKTOBERFEST "TASTE OF THE TRAIL"

During the afternoon and into the evening hours enjoy several great musicians while sampling traditional German and Michigan foods, sodas, beers and wines at our various biergartens along the wooded and lighted pathways of the park.

PARKING

Motor vehicle permit/ recreation passport required to enter. The cost is $11 a year for Michigan residents and is available at Secretary of State when you renew your license plates. For out- of- state vehicles the cost is $8 for a day pass or $29 for an annual/year pass. These can be purchased at the MWSC when you arrive. We recommend carpooling!!!
