Virginia’s Farm Brewery Turns One!
Believe it or not, it’s been one full year since we opened our doors. We are having a three day celebration filled with tons of activities to celebrate this milestone.
Three Day Celebration, September 26th – 28th, Place: Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery, Address: 4100 Knolls Point Drive. Goochland, VA 23063. Dogs are welcome at Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery. Please make sure their shots are up to date, clean up after them and keep them on a leash.Please drive safely and slowly when visiting Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery in respect to our neighbors and wildlife. We accept cash and credit cards.
Day One, Date: Friday, September 26, 2014, Time: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
First off, we will be releasing Estate Series Gentleman Farmer Fresh Hop Ale. We had a robust harvest on the farm this year and Gentleman Farmer is tasting fantastic. We will have bottles for sale starting Friday Night. Fresh Hop American Pale Ale, 7.5% ABV Made with hops grown on the LCCB farm. Home grown Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops round out this American Style Ale. Available in 750 ml Bottles, Only Produced Once a Year.
Cans are coming! As fate would have it this is the very first day we will be canning ‘Til Sunset Session IPA. Available for sale same day!
Birthday Give Aways All through our Birthday Weekend we will be giving a free Lickinghole Creek Pint Glass with the purchase of two or more bottles of beer or two six packs of cans at the Farm’s Tasting Room. Limit of one glass per customer.

On Friday, September 26 we are going to have live music from one of the best Blues Bands in Central VA, the Bluz Cats. The Bluz Cats will start playing around 6:30 p.m.
After rocking out to amazing blues and drinking Farm Grown Brews, we’re going to have a showing of From Grain to Growler, a documentary about the growth of Virginia Craft Beer. The talented film makers from Take a Penny Productions will be on site as well as Lee Graves, the Richmond Beer Guy to answer any questions you may have. The movie should begin around 8:30

Special Preview Pin: Special Pin of Berry Virginia Black Bear. It’s our Russian Imperial Stout aged on a mix of fresh blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.
On Saturday, September 27th we are going to have live music throughout the course of the day. Here’s the incredible lineup:
The talented and legendary Richmond Rock Duo FU (The Fredds Unplugged) will kick off the festivities at 1:00.
Then the band that rocked our Grand Opening & Despot Day is back….Barrelhouse will bring their talents to the farm starting around 3:30.
And to cap off the evening, the one and only Susan DePhillip will perform starting around 7:00.

Day 3, Sunday, September 28th (Our Actual Anniversary), Time: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The final day of our Three Day Birthday Celebration is our actual anniversary.
