THE HOLY MOUNTAIN DC DEBUT - 9 DELICIOUS FARMHOUSE ALES FROM SEATTLE, WASHINGTON ON TAP & FROM BOTTL

Details

Here at ChurchKey, we take great pride in featuring the best and most
exciting new brewers from across the globe. With that in mind, it is
our incredible honor to host the official DC debut of Holy Mountain
Brewing from Seattle, WA!

Join us on Monday, June 27th as we pour the 9 different beers from
this exciting brewery for the very first time in DC!

Since opening their doors in late 2014, Holy Mountain has developed a
cult-like following in the Pacific NW. Unlike most breweries, Holy
Mountain rarely brews a beer twice. Their evolving lineup of beers is
a true showcase of both their creativity and technical skills.

Highlighting the list are some fantastic rustic farmhouse ales, many
of which utilize wild yeasts and/or oak fermentation. Notables include
Covenant, a rotating mixed fermentation Saison fermented in oak
puncheons (this batch was dry-hopped with Mosaic & Simcoe); and Misére
au Borinage, a Grisette aged in oak foeders with brettanomyces and
lactobacillus.

Rounding out the selection are Bourbon Barrel Aged King’s Head, an
Imperial Brown Ale brewed with oats an aged 11 months in Kentucky
Bourbon barrels; and Watchmen’s House, a unique take on a California
Common, fermented in third use whiskey barrels.

There is no admission fee for this event and all Holy Mountain beers
will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.
