Join us on October 5th as we officially kick off First Fridays at Rustico Alexandria. On the first Friday of every month, we’ll partner with a local farm and craft brewery for a family-friendly party on our outdoor patio. This month, we’re excited to team with Earth N Eats (Waynesboro, PA) and Crooked Run Brewing (Sterling, VA)!

For October’s feature, Chef de Cuisine Aaron Wright will roast a whole pig inside a La Caja China. This custom made wooden box is specially designed to produce mouthwatering results. Once it comes out of the box, we’ll put the final touches on the grill and serve it with your favorite classic sides, including baked beans, cornbread and collard greens.

If that wasn’t enough, our friends at Crooked Run Brewing have sent us 4 exciting beers that will pair perfectly with our pig. Highlights include White Tablecloth, a double dry-hopped Saison; and Hayabusa, a West Coast-style IPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops.

There is no admission fee for this event. All food and beer will be priced individually.
