A very fond farewell

Message finn1918 beers 241 º places 12 º 14:02 Thu 1/9/2014 To make a long story very short, I’m going to be taking a very long break from beer (and alcohol in general). My wife and I are expecting our first baby in just two short months, and for a variety of reasons (financial, health, safety, being a good role model), we’ve agreed that it’s best to put down the bottle for a good few years. I’ll be depleting and ticking my cellar for posterity’s sake, and be on the lookout for me in about a decade if you are all still here. I’ll admit to never buying a premium membership (shame on me!) and I’ll confess that I never traded with a single one of you, even when I got my paws on some rare ticks. Nevertheless, I enjoyed being an on-and-off member of this little club, and my journey through craft beer was quite a ride! I learned quite a bit, and hopefully made some worthwhile contributions during my tenure. Keep fighting the good fight! "I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. I am going now, and I bid you all a very fond farewell." Cheers!
