Yes, the opening times need checking. Also, bear in mind that Bristol Rovers are playing at home on Good Friday, which means the pub will be very busy. Bristol also sees the opening of Wiper & True’s first bar ’The Old Butcher’s’ at 57 North Street, BS3 on 1 April.

Cheers Gavin;
Looks like our best day is the Saturday, the pub opens at lunch time and the buses are running to normal schedule, we can hop on and off buses back into town afterwards if I can get a day ticket. Do you know whether they will be putting a beer list out?
The Wiper and True Bar looks interesting, not that far from our Caravan Site, might be worth popping over there, looking forward to more details.

Rune and myself will be in Newton Abbot at the Tucker’s Maltings Beer Festival the two first days of the festival: Thursday 27th and Friday 28th of April. Then we go to Bristol and stay there for a couple of days. Anyone in the area at this time? We could bring with us some rarities from beyond The Arctic Circle for trade.
