Back-to-Back Beer Weeks in China May 29 - June 14

Recently, the authorities in Beijing have been shutting down large public gatherings of any kind. The Gaymazing Race, organized by Great Leap Brewing, was not allowed to proceed this year. Therefore, rather than take the chance that the same thing would happen to the Beijing Craft Beer Festival, GLB decided to switch over to a beer week format. Therefore, the first annual Beijing Craft Beer Week will be from June 8-14: http://ow.ly/MFpDs

Beijing’s beer week starts just a day after Shanghai’s, which is May 29 - June 7: http://ow.ly/MIC10. So for the craft beer drinker thinking about going to China, this is the ideal time to do so. I would recommend booking an open-jaw flight that flies into Shanghai and flies out of Beijing.
