Are there still bars out there that don’t carry a single craft beer or a beer not made by one of the macros? I just never find myself in these types of settings and was wondering. |
The Moose Lodge in the town I grew up in has 1 of the 5 draft lines dedicated to craft beer. I know this because my dad tells me every time we talk on the phone. |
Probably yes |
One of the largest "craft" breweries in town makes a crappy lager and a few lame others; they also make many good beers. |
In Great Britain we even have bars that do not sell Cask Ales, so the answer to the question is yes. |
Not everywhere, but in many places, bars would have to go out of their way not to serve at least one craft beer. |

Cities outside of America, cities not in "first world countries",sometimes there are more w/o then with. |
Still a bunch around Louisville without any craft beer; some even within a short walk from our better-known establishments. |
Plenty of places like this in my town, but they are becoming less common. Most will at least have Sierra Nevada Pale or Dales Pale. |
Quite a few pubs & bars in my town of 80,000 people are proud of their total and utter rejection of anything perceived as ’craft beer’, ’modern’ and not dispensed via cask-conditioned hand-pull. Bottles of shit, sticky-sweet, mass-produced ’cider’ that goes against everything they stand for is perfectly acceptable though. |
