Black IPA’s

Is it me or has the black IPA star fallen from the sky. It seems to me that they are just not shoved in your face everywhere you go like they once were. Is it me or is this the case? I only had 3 in 2016 and so far 4 this year. cheerstevo

Agree it seems that the hurried craft brew bandwagon of 5-6 years ago that forced the naming of a new style has definitely been ignored in the last couple a years. Maybe they’re all working on the latest craze that somehow escapes all current style definitions?

Yes. They are focusing on the other coloured IPAs instead.

It’s all New England IPAs now...
