FNG question on the style rating

Message Stumble 20:37 Sun 6/22/2014 I don’t understand what the style rating is. I read the information available in FAQs and still don’t understand. Can someone help me out please. Thanks
Message GT P beers 10001 º places 672 º 20:43 Sun 6/22/2014 Score of the beer as compared to all beers in that style. Top overall score is versus all beers in existence.
Message Indra P beers 2711 º places 78 º 13:09 Mon 6/23/2014 Yep. Style score compares beers of the same style, overall compares that beer to all beers, regardless of style.
