What sort of lasagna, does it have italian sausage w lots of fennel or just ground beef? Decent cheese, homemade ricotta or what not?

I would recommend a flanders red if you like sours. I had some Duchesse with pasta in red sauce a few weeks ago and it was awesome

He’s asking beer, not water ;)

I’d go for a not-too-heavy (taste-wise, i.e. no massive sugars or malts) blonde beer in the vein of Duvel. It’s strong and sharp enough to sort of cut through the taste of the lasagna, yet not that full in taste that it would clash.
