Message STLWill 20:39 Mon 5/10/2010 I just ordered an Avery IPA because of this thread and I’m really enjoying it, probably haven’t had one in atleast a year and I don’t know why. Cheers to Avery for doing the right thing with great class!

Adam is right. We all pay big bucks for great brews, and it is awesome to see that they are trying to do everything in their power to make it right ! All brewers/breweries should take notes ! I will be buying Avery this week just because of this customer service and honesty. Cheers, Dean

Message jtclockwork beers 21132 º places 554 º 21:00 Mon 5/10/2010 I admit that I’m not the biggest Avery fan. I consider them to be a decent all around brewery, but I’m not blown away with them. Still, this thread will make me go out and try other beers they brew. Kudos to them for doing the right thing.

Still, a really nice stout. Agreed. I cracked mine open tonight, as promised, and it turned out to be a really nice beer. I like bourbon a LOT more than rum, but this was a fun and interesting take on the style. Thought the notes were a lot cleaner and more balanced in the nose than the mouth, but maybe it will smooth out over time. Not a hint of souring.
