Victoria beer store takes credit for "beer mail"

Cook Street Liquor gets the great idea of mailing beer to clients:

Ha. Another version of beer mail which is kind of fun is at JL Beers (which has locations in Grand Forks, Fargo, etc. - in other words, place in proximity to southern Manitoba), where they will send a post card to anyone anywhere in the world. Once you’ve had a few Pumkings or whatever, it’s impossible to resist the urge of sending your buddies a post card - if only I could remember their address.

I don’t think Cook St. Liquor is taking credit for beer mail. Obviously other companies in other parts of the world do craft beer mail order. But there don’t seem to be other retailers in BC who are doing this kind of thing. Am I wrong?
