Which retailer and which bar consistently has the best prices on craft beer in your area? |
Hate to say it, but Giant Eagle’s bottle prices are consistently cheaper than the bottle shops nearby. |
Valu Market, Bardstown Rd. in Louisville. |
In Salt Lake City, Utah I would say the State Wine and Liquor store as retailer(any beer above 4% is sold in state owned stores) and the Beerhive as a bar. |

Everyone is pretty on par with each other around here. Hy-Vee that I sometimes go to over my lunch break just upped their singles prices to $1.75 a bottle which is a quarter increase. For convience sake I’ll still likely pick a few up there, but that signals to me that the time has come to make less beer stops for more beer out at Beer Crazy where every single is just 1/6th the price of the six pack. |
The Wine & Cheese Place in Clayton, which borders St. Louis, has both the best bottle selection and prices in town. For a bar, I’m not sure- no one really stands out price-wise. |
Originally posted by rsully and they even sell 3 Font Oude Geuze at the grocery store!!! still have breakfast stout for sale.. no rarities to speak of.. but way better than cases of macro stuff. |
It is hard to beat Drug Emporium in WV. |
