Visited here today, Friday 2nd September 2022 as it was en route from Gare de L'Est to our Hotel in the Latin Quarter, it was a street back from Blvd De Sebastopol and only 2 minutes from the Seine. We sat outside and just had the one beer, but I was surprised at how many beers they had available. The majority were Belgian, followed by French and then a few German offerings and whilst most were well know such as the Trappists and some regular Belgian offerings, it was a decent selection, proper glassware, plenty of enamel signs and a nice looking place, the upstairs seating area looked really nice. We had a Chimay Verte (me) and Orval (Loz) and sat relaxing watching the world go buy. It was on the pricier side I guess at €18 for the two beers but I suspect that this is Parisian prices. We liked it here, we didn't really have too many expectations but it was nice, staff really friendly, good atmosphere and food (we didn't eat) looked pretty good, especially the Mussels.

Paris seems to be a bit of a beer wasteland, but maybe it's just because I can't speak the language and don't know where to go. That being said, this place was the best I could find, and I will never complain about Chimay on draught. Decent lambic for a fair price as well. The curry mussels are worth going for alone. That being said, I could see that it is super touristy, but whatever, I was a tourist.

Every week I go to this bar since 1 years. I taste all beers (except 3 or 4 German beers, I go the KIEZ gardenbeer for that). A lot of Belgium beer, the boss tell me ’people like belgian beers, most of France, Germany..thats why we propose a majority of Belgian Beer’. I know him know, I try to convince him to sell other lesser-known beer (last month the served Samuel Adams, Salamandra (french beer))... whatever I like this place, and the staff is super nice.

Located in a strong touristy area and it shows. Or rather, I hope this bar can only survive by stupid tourists coming by and not by the ignorance of locals, because this is everything a Belgian beer bar should not be. Hugely boring list of beers, both in bottles but certainly in the tap list which was almost exclusively the Belgian semi-macros. Most bottles are very expensive although admittedly the single price for (almost) all bottles also means you can get a Rochefort 10 or Boon Gueuze for 8,50 euro and for Paris that’s not horrible. For, say, a Piraat it is though. Some bottles (the ones I wanted) were unavailable and I got exactly 1 new tick. The service was genuinely disinterested and this was shown most in the complementary popcorn we got. Not only was it the most chewy, stale popcorn I ever tasted in my life, it represented everything that Au Trappiste is (not). We could only laugh out loud for its stupidity and move on...

Long-running Belgian bistrot in the heart of central Paris. Very popular for tourists and during sports events. Decent selection of classic Abbey brews on tap as well as Jenlain. The bottle menu is quite extensive too. Their mussels dishes are popular, as well as a few other classic greasy snacks. Be careful with prices, good beer in central Paris is far from cheap.

Not a bad place with a reasonable selection on tap, and pretty good range of Belgian bottled beer. Food was typical pub/brasserie style but not too bad. Fairly heavy tourist traffic through the day, more of a local feel later at night

Quite nice place, friendly staff. 20 taps, mainly basic belgians but some rare too. Some nice bottles also.

I liked this place more than most others it seems. Comfortable Parisian cafe ambiance. Not a great selection of taps, mostly Leffe, but a decent bottle list. Prices seem to be cheaper, and down right reasonable, if you stand at the bar. I think you avoid a dine in tax that will almost double your bill, if it’s like other places in the city. I tried the burger and fries, and it was good. This is not a must visit spot, but if you’re in the area, it’s worth a beer or two.

Quite nice selection for a commercial restaurant/bar. Food looked great but I didn’t try it. Beer was expensive but worth the try.
