Great restaurant! Very cool and vibey bar area with large bright/serving tanks. Great food and a decent waitstaff. Not a huge selection of beers on tap, maybe 6 or 7, and only a couple are usually worth having. But it’s a great place non the less!

This is a classy looking joint. Marble bar with comfy low backed chairs, and a sharp looking draft system with no identifiying gimmicky handles. An nice looking chalkboard greets you with the fare for the day. Six beers on tap, 4 regular and 2 seasonals and 1 cask selection. Good view of the brewing area and a super friendly bartender. We had a fun converstaion about the recent CBC in San Diego. Great library like drinking room. Old world ambiance here, like walking into another place alltogether and leaving Nashville behind if only for a moment.

Stop 2 on beer tour 08. Nice place. Very accomodating. One of the apprentice brewers stopped being a waiter for a night and showed us around. A very nice place.

Average beers with the handpull Maris Otter being the best. The food selection was nice and the service prompt. My second time visiting when passing through and will again if time is available.

I am highly appreciative of this place, just like Boscos and Yazoo, because there’s really nothing else in Nashville. My homerism will up the rating a little bit. Very solid beers, very attentive service, very solid and reasonably priced food. Essential if you’re in Music City.

Blackstone is always good. 2-3 samplers and I’m toast! :) I like all their beer so much, samplers is usually all I order. The food is always great. Service is restaurant style hit-n-miss. The brew masters are very nice and willing to give tours even if not scheduled (if you catch them at the right time). One of my favorite places to go in Nashville. Selection gets a 15 because there is no need for them to represent anyone else. They usually have about 8 of their own beers on tap. :)

Place rating #106. Nice place here. Went on the suggestion of this site and everyone in my party was pleased with the experience. Clean with a medium sized smoking bar in the center. Brewing equipment nicely displayed in the front and behind the bar. Beer selection consisted of 6 beers and for 6.25 you can sample 5 oz of each. 10oz glass was like 2.50 and full pint I think was 3.25. Large selection of bottles. Their brew was solid to very solid. Nothing outstanding but EVERYTHING drinkable and pleasant. Food was good but menu was just a bit small. I was really in the mood for some BBQ, hopefully a sandwich or something but had the BBQ Pork platter thing. It was good but the side it came with, cheezy like grits presented like a ball of rice or pile of potatoes, was wonderful. Prices were reasonable for food. You will be pleased with this experience and I would deffinately go back.

Nice ambiance, really good service. The selection was a bit limited, but the Nut Brown was cask-conditioned and quite good. Food was okay, but a little pricy. Worth trying. Re-rate: I went back during two recent business trips to Nashville. The best feature of Blackstone’s is that one of their ales is always available from the cask. Definitely worth a stop just for that. I had their Red on my first return trip and their Porter on this second trip and both were wonderful. I’ve upped the rating for selection, even though they don’t have a wide variety just because of the cask.

A really nice atomsphere. There from about 2p till 4p. No big bustle I’m sure that would change as the evening went on. Nice selection of beer they had there amber both on regular tap and cask tried a side by side would recommend that test to everyone. Server was a good guy discussed some of the beers he had tried. The brewer came out and chatted about stuff in general as he was tapping another cask. Would recommend everyone stop in and give it a try. The food was excellent the portions great. All the beers I had were good

Cool restaurant with a big visible brewing area, a large bar, and a decent sized beer garden which is a little loud as it faces West End Ave. We sat outside and it did not really both us though. Decor was nice with some varied feels to the different rooms/areas pretty cool place. Cheaply priced sampler was decent, the Cask Red Springs Ale, and Harvest Ale stood out as the best of the night. Had their shnitzel and schlactplatte for their Oktoberfest celebration. The veal schnitzel was great, the sausages just okay, menu looked appetizing, and reasonably priced. A great place in Nashville. My only beef was our waiter who could not wait for us to leave for some reason. The bartender inside where we moved t o get away from the waiter was very nice.

Similar in appearance to other family-style brewpub/restaurant, with OK pizzas, though served on a chip-like crust, and for the most part a decent menu. Some southern dishes, some British-style dishes, and mostly just comtemporary family restaurant food. Beer quality was OK, nothing great, nothing terrible. I liked the interior, and the large parking lot out front accomodated my truck and trailer as I was traveling through town.
