Stopped in as part of my week in Las Vegas, odd to find a Beer Destination in a shopping mall, but thats rather beside the point. Ambience is nice, somewhere between a gastropub and an upper-end sports lounge. Food was excellent, although for a $22 hamburger, it bloody well better be. Tap selection was broad, though not terribly interesting, bottle list was nice, would love to get a table together for one of those Firestone Walker verticals... If you want are to find, or one-off beers, Aces and Ales is a better choice, but the food here is top-notch, and the selection is great, plus its right on the Strip. I’ll be back.

It’s a burger bar, but not like any burger bar I’ve been too. Full of tables, booths and lots of bar stools. Each booth has a little TV to watch, well, TV.

The service was great and they were super friendly. They lost my order about 5 minues after taking it. The waitress was in tears over it and they ended up not charging us anything for our food, despite getting our food out faster than most places do on a regular basis. Our waitress was super and her manager was equally great.

Their burgers are world class and their food, from what we had, is all really good. The number of burgers they have is nice and all very different. I don’t mean simple changing the toppings around, I mean quality variety. Different types of meat, different buns to choose from, and the Rossini looked amazing with foie gras and shaved truffles.

They have about 100 different bottles of beer and 24 taps. Their selection is nice, they have extremely rare and hard to find beers like Firestone Walker 12 and they have plenty of local offerings as well.

As far as the prices...it’s Vegas, but it’s also not overkill.

If you make a trip to Vegas, then you need to stop in. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed...I was thrilled with the place.

Went here a few times last month when we did the half-marathon and stayed at the Mandalay. Decent spread of taps with some local representation and a few imports. Bottle list has some hidden treasures, but be prepared to pay for them! Pricey for sure. Burgers are unbeleivable-- ground to order so I had a rare bison burger with blue cheese. Fuck yeah!

Hangin’ in Vegas with Weeheavy. Bottle selection was good, but priced for Vegas. Sin City beer was weak, and they were out of their signature beer. Burgers were awesome and well priced. I’ll go back.

(Visited 03/2009): Burger Bar is in the upper level of the mall at Mandalay Bay which of course is on the Vegas Strip. There is plenty of parking in the whole area. The interior is deep and narrow with the bar running pretty much the entire length of the left side of the room. It is essentially 2 bars with a server area between. The rest of the space is devoted to restaurant seating. The lighting is alternating hard and soft, and has a similar vibe to a lot of Vegas restaurants. The bar offers a pretty good look at the available draughts and bottles. Burger Bar has around 25 taps featuring beers from Lost Coast, Stone, Pyramid, Speakeasy, Sin City, New Belgium and others. As for bottles there are maybe 100 segmented neatly in the (very thorough) beer menu by country. Domestically, Deschutes, Kona, North Coast, etc are represented. As for imports there are several options from Holland, Mexico, Japan, Belgium, UK, Czech Republic etc. Most of the drafts are available as samples (they require you get 5 at a time). Service was surprisingly good on a Wednesday evening. The bartender, while being dressed in tiny clothes was actually able to make good recommendations (Kasteel Donker and Samichlaus). No complaints there. The burgers at Burger Bar are pretty good. There are several "house" burgers but they have a pretty good a la carte setup as well. My burger was pretty solid, and the sweet potato fries were especially tasty. Overall I would definitely check this place out again while on the Strip.

Not too many on tap, but plenty of bottled beer available... some of it pretty good (North Coast Old Stock 2008). Food (burger) was quite good and flavorful... fries were hot. Selection of food is somewhat limited (burgers and salads). Pricey, but it is in Mandalay Bay. Worth a stop by and I would definitely go back.

Skip this place. It is a waste of time. They offer a total of 3 beers that fall outside of the world of macro beers and they are expensive.

Nice selection and good food, but overpriced which should surprise no one because this is the Strip and this is Mandalay Bay and this restaurant/bar sits in the middle of designer shops. Nothing surprising or rare on the tap selection (I had a Grimbergen double). Still, they were solid beers. The bottle selection was big and diverse. Pub-like ambiance. The service was very good and the staff seemed to know the beers.

Lots of great beers on tap and an incredible bottle selection. I was really impressed at the bottle selection from Belgium, Japan, and Germany. Some stuff I’d never seen before. I got the Deschutes Jubelale and Primo Lager. Very good selection. Food was decent but massively overpriced. Service was very good and all of them were willing to talk about beer and food.
