Nice modern bar with good food and close to train station. Beer selection (tap and bottle) is not too inspiring though a couple of interesting finds.

A pretty good bar with a better selection of Jenevers than beers, but the beers they have are by and large interesting. Situated just outside the center, the ambiance is trendy.

Located conveniently close to the train station. Modern looking place. Friendly guys who wish to help you make a choice. Decent tap list when I visited, including a Spanish DIPA. Because the tap beers were familiar to me, I turned to their bottle selection. Unfortunately, there was no bottle menu available and I had to download an app to get a peak in their cellar. I must say the bottle list left me a bit disappointed, the most interesting I could find being a limited Hof den Dormaal BA. Some of my other choices were not available either, a bit frustrating. Prices are decent though. I most likely won’t revisit, the bottle selection is just too much of a chore to navigate.

Not far from the main train station and Tape bar (ignore the map it’s next to the train tracks clos to Arnhem Velperweg train station). Very attentive service. A decent beer selection but there was A scheider tap takeover so its hard to tell what they normally have as most if the taps were Schneider. I will come back

Rerate 22/08/14 I hadn’t been in a while. Still a good selection, only this time beer names were not correctly written on the chalkboard behind the bar, missing information like ABV too. Their beer menu has now the classic trappist beers you find in every bar and for the rest you need to download an app and check with they have. Then it turns out some of the beers appearing on the app are finished, plus it doesn’t show any prices either, big minus here.They need to fix those issues asap./////// 11/07/13 I went there first time yesterday. Nice atmosphere with music loud enough to listen to what it’s playing but also to hear the people you are talking with. I didn’t have any food, so I will come back and change the mark here once I try something from them. 8 beers on the tap, from the Netherlands, Belgium and England. Big menu for the beers in bottles, I gave it a glance, some good American beers and some italian beers that I don’t know. What I liked most is that they don’t bother you all the time to order more. I will return for sure, it’s on walking distance from home after all. Good prices too (at least as far as beer is concerned).

Dropped in for a quick beer - or 2 - or 3 and a snack. Good service, nice selection. Convenient location, so will drop in more often. Some interesting beers available and fair pricing.

Douberd took me here on a recent daytime visit to town. 8 taps with beers from Netherlands, Belgium, United States and England. They had a nice bottle list including Drei Fonteinen Armand Herbst and Winter for 35/btl. I didn’t eat but they had a nice menu of things like sandwiches and salads. Certainly worth a visit if you are in Amhem.
