No Longer In Business

Another tired old traditional German brewpub on the second floor, very close to the centre. A few house beers on tap, with 0.3L and 0.5L pours available for €3.60 and €4.80. The two I tried were subpar. Of the two bartenders who served, one spoke almost no English, and the other spoke simple broken English. Wouldn’t recommend the place at all.

I am not sure what this place is being run as? The beer seems to be a bit of an inconvenience. The staff just run around shouting at each other whilst ignoring the No Smoking signs that they have plastered all over the walls. Went for the Sunday brunch, but don't bother. Made a reservation but there was only a hand full of people in there. Seems like the locals have deserted it. Gets panned on the Google reviews, I should have listened.

Die älteste Hausbrauerei in Stuttgart. 4 passable eigene Biere vom Fass. Schwäbisches Essen ok. Leider alles recht teuer.

Nice big bar and brewery in the city centre ...

Nice old fashioned interior upstairs from the street. The service was friendly but understaffed and quite challenged when you ordered something. The beer is not bad, but the all-you-can-eat buffet is not especially noteworthy.

Nice place - located in the former English-style pub - good beers in excellent setting.

The interior is nice, but there are multiple TVs showing Bundesliga (Soccer), which makes it more a bar for me then a restaurant. We got seated next to the smokers room, which door didn’t close properly. This is also the reason I couldn’t rate, but the beer didn’t taste so good anyway. When we asked to be seated elsewhere the waiter rudely (and I’m from bavaria, rude is our nice, but these guys...wtf) just said that there is no smoke. The food was nice. Also the girls bathrooms must have been a mess (according to my gf), didn’t use the male ones. I think, at the time the waiter realized he won’t get any tips, it was hard to get a hold of him. So my advise, just if you need the ratings or when you’re really hungry (so were we).

Came here on a Saturday evening to have some food and since I been to all the more interesting options in town. The place was packed, I only found a seat at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. Beers not very interesting. I found the place rather pricey, especially also the food. Food was decent though. Overall I would recommend Sophies instead, which I liked better for both food and beers.

Upstairs venue not far from Stadtmitte station. Wood everywhere. Service ok. Beer nothing special and a little pricey. Worth a visit for the ticks. Not one of the better brewpub venues
