66 Visited on 5th January 2017. Large pub on a main road in Kensington. Pretty impressive lighting out the front and quite a tardis-like interior. There’s a Thai restaurant which seemed to be exceedingly popular with the pub wedged despite a lot of seating in the place. There’s a lot of Churchill related material on the walls. Beer range supplied by Fullers was OK, it was well looked after, prices OK, service good. A nice pub but not one I’d be dashing back to. |
92 Homely, friendly Fuller’s house in a trendy part of the capital, this is the kind of pub you would happily have as your local. The usual Fuller’s range was available and my pints of ESB were superb and dispensed by attractive young staff. One of my favourite London pubs! |
70 Nice pub, old school pub decor. Fullers beers, solid but fairly dull line-up, no sign of the Porter. Thai food is good and the Thai serving staff are class. A good stop if you’re in the area, wouldn’t travel for the beer. |
66 Good place to stop in for a travelling American in need of an ale respite. |

76 Great pub with a real old-school atmosphere in Kensington, not far from Hyde Park and Notting Hill. Many Fuller’s beers. Very British place, despite of many tourists (I’m one of those !). I warmly recommend to have a pint or two at this place while visiting London ! |
78 The Churchill Arms is one of those pubs which are very hard to describe or do justice to, its simply best to visit and see for yourself!
Quirky because you don’t expect there to be an excellent Thai restaurant attached, it was in fact the very first London pub to have one.
Delightful it is, being famous for its spectacular displays of flowers in hanging baskets and winning a ’London in bloom’ title two years running.
Great value undoubtedly as being part of the Fuller estate it offers an excellent range of well kept cask ales from that famous old London family brewing company.
I have never been disappointed by the Churchill Arms and I never tire of visiting whenever I’m any where near Kensington Church Street. |
84 Charming Fuller´s pub with very well kept beers and excellent thai food. Can be very crowded. The facade is quite a sight and inside you are surrounded of Churchill memorabilia. Open fire-place also. A gem off a pub. |
74 Nice cozy pub in a very traditional and old-school way. The flowers hanging from the window sills outside the pub are just amazing and inside there are so many little things hanging from the ceiling and on the wall that it is so hard to stop looking. The beer selection is okay, they have got many Fuller’s beers on tap and quite some bottled treasures as well. The atmosphere is very welcome and warm, I enjoyed the stay a lot. |
78 My favorite London pub. Gets busy after work but great for lunchtime or early afternoon pint and super Thai food. Warm homely atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. Memorabilia collection just keeps growing and flower display outside always amazes. Fantastic atmosphere at Cristmastime. Standard Fullers casks and bottles. Always fresh. Unfortunately the London Porter tap had gone on my most recent visit (Oct 12). Great spot. Hard to leave! |
72 Very cool atmosphere and amazing really hot thai food. The best thai hybrid pub I have been to. |
