Right on the main drag, close to Le Projet and other decent places. Two rooms, most of the stock is in coolers. OK selection of Quebecoise breweries with one cooler reserved for breweries in the city. Young guy at the counter was helpful and even looked through a couple of the coolers to find what I was after. Decent selection of sausages and other meats, barbecue sauce. Prices seemed in line with the area. Worth a stop if ou're on Rue St Jean

2018-12-26. Stopped in here quickly on our first night in town. Selection didn't knock my socks off but I also didn't dig too deeply as we were not looking to load up. We grabbed a few bottles from breweries I recognized. Prices on the bottles were a bit on the higher side but I don't know what they go for normally so can't really compare. Majority of the selection is refrigerated which is a plus and a difference from other stores in town. Worth a visit.

Good selection for Quebec City, trying to carry every style. The manager, originally from new Brunswick is high energy, and traffic rewards her.

While it has been the best beer store in Quebec city for a long time, it’s not even a shell of its former self. Selection is ok, but often they either don’t have the new releases (including special DBSQ releases because they aren’t member of that association) or they have them a while after l’Axe du Malt. Service can be ok to subpar depending who is working but since the former manager left it’s not nearly as good. Prices are still ok. But with l’Axe du Malt a few hundreds meters away, the choice is easy.

Small place but well presented. I ask the only clerk in the place for some rare bottles or special release or even things that I cannot find in Montreal area and she couldn’t say. She finally showed me some really common bottles. Prices are a bit higher compared to Montreal area too. I found more interesting stuff one street further.

Fun beer store with a great selection of beers from the Quebec province. Most of the beer is stored in coolers which is always a plus. I had great recommendations from Francis and grabbed a Dunham Le Cerbère to go. I could of easily bought more but my backpack can’t fit any more beer! A nice visit along with Le Projet and Bateau de Nuit further along rue Saint-Jean.

Seemed OK; nice selection but it was all local micro-brews .. was hoping for some rare Belgium options. Prices seemed decent as well ...

Good selection. Fair prices. Facebook page is updated daily with pictures of new beers. They run out of special release very quickly so if they post something on FB, you can almost be certain it will be gone the next day.

This shop is well located in the middle of Quebec City near all the main attractions. The shop does indeed look very small and cramped but the selection is all quality. If you search long enough you will find some treasures hidden in some shelves (some rare Chouape and Brouhaha for me). Prices seem very reasonable for location and selection. Staff is willing to help if need be. I would recommend this place over JA Moisan which is located on the same street.
