Nice restaurant in friendly Meppel, great food and some interesting beers. Every dish has its own beer suggestion, which is a good thing (some suggestions seemed a bit weird though, but I haven’t tried them all). Dutch beer is limited to IJ, La Trappe and Texelse, this could be better, but it is the best selection I found in Meppel.

Nicely located in an old building at the centre of Meppel. Selection is quite good for a restaurant in this part of the Netherlands, you’d be hard-pressed to find a restaurant with a better beer menu. They’re affiliated with Brand, but there’s some ’t IJ beers and a number of classic Belgian brews on the menu. Food is quite satisfactory. Best place to grab a beer in Meppel.
