il Pretesto Beershop

Headed here around 1800 on the evening of Saturday, 25/03/23, largely to stock up on some beers to take home. Again, first proper review since lockdown, venue entry showing 400 bottles !!! Think Again ... about 100 to 120 now .. .half are IT craft the other half German, Belgian and English offerings so didn't pay much attention ... some 3F, Tilquin on show. You can drink any of the beers in the shop or out on the pavement. Friendly guy running the show who knew his stuff. Definitely worth a trip out here ... for pure IT ticks, which was my mission, you'll get the most choice here. APA and IPA Euro 5.5 to 6.5/7 to drink in so not much more than bars.

Smallish to medium sized bottle shop not that far from the city center. They have plastic cups and two tables so its possible to have a beer there. About 250 beers in two fridges and on shelves. Good Italian selection with lesser known breweries. Also good range of imports from various countries, however prices for some of those are pretty crazy. The owner is ready to recommend and he seems to know Italian beer scene very well. Very good place worth visiting.

Called here after finding ourselves around the corner anyway, and the chap inside (the owner, I’d presume) unlocked the door to let us in. Decent selection of Italian and EU bottles, with some interesting US ones, too. Quite a few gaps on the shelves, maybe due to the time of year. Prices looked ok. Not as good as I’d expected after reading other reviews. I’d probably not go out of my way to visit again really.

I went there during my return trip to Switzerland, coming from Termoli. I take the opportunity to visit this place. 20 minutes walking from the train station, next to the historical center. It is a small beer shop with an interesting selection of American, English and some Italian beers, I was thinking something bigger, even though, I have found the atmosphere really relax, the prices are not cheap, but you can drink inside the shop, or just beside, the people and the owner are nice, not something bobo and idiot that I have seen in some places for the craft beer, a place to visit and make your opinion.

Small lively bottle shop that you can drink inside selection is good loads of italian stuff, high end USA imports loads of uk craft and a few trad bits music was banging. 70's afro funk loads of 90's random rap. Owner was cool as... I gave him a fresh can of cloudwater dipa he was pleased with that. Essential

Small place with a good selection. Lots of Italian craft, and good imports too, including some rarities. Lots of Belgian stuff. Michelle is a great guy, knowledgeable and friendly. Good place to drink a couple and take some out. Drink in for no extra charge.

Very good place for local craft beers, the owner is very friendly and chatty, willing to help at any time, even gave me a gift. Totally recommended place!
