62 Re-rate June 2013: happy to report that this fair-sized bottle shop in Kingsford is worth visiting once again after overcoming a temorary form slump. It’s not worth going miles out of your way to find, but a good fall-back if you’re in the area. There’s a Dan Murphys across the road if that’s of any interest. Plenty of Aussie micros here, including Murrays. Good selection of Americans, including Rogue, Green Flash, Sierra Nevada, etc. Nothing terribly unusual. |
92 This store has had a name change to Steve’s Cool Booze. It now has a strong focus on craft beer - Australian & imported. There are over 400 beers on range, many of them limited release or seasonal beers.
Also, they recently introduced growlers & squealers using a counter pressure filler to ensure the beer stays fresh longer in comparison to conventional devices.
The service offered by Steve & Gerry is exceptional & prices are very reasonable.
If you love quality beer, you must visit.

66 Definitely a surprise to walk into this place and see the range of beers tey stock. Most are available at various other places but here they are all in one spot. For some bizzare reason they had the whole Florisgaarden range stocked when I went in. The real find though was their collection of Unibroue stuff. Worth checking out. |
