Here’s a restaurant serving the McKenzie brews. The bar is modern and kind of a cross between cocktail and sports bar so more than enough TV’s surrounding the atmosphere if that’s your thing. The beers however, were very good and that’s what makes this place worth stopping by for.

This is a large modern place dominated by a large central square bar. There is a second room toward the back that looked more like a restaurant. Beers available in flights of 8, and they were all pretty decent. Didn’t try the food. Service was by teenagers, who were nice enough. Decent stop.

I felt like I wandered into the wrong restaurant when I first arrived here. The decor is so much different than the other two pubs. I understand this location is close to the Main Line, but McKenzie’s really went over the top with the atmosphere. It certainly felt like I was dining in a five-star restaurant. I read the previous reviews, but couldn’t disagree more. I thought the service was attentive and my server knew his beer. He had a lot of awesome patience with us, having to deal with four kids and a total party of nine. The food was decent, but nothing really to write home about. I really liked the wings. The sauce they make here was a combination of sweet, tangy, spicy and creamy. The beer selection was pretty nice, with an APA and IPA on draft, along with the usual McKenzie house offerings. They also had their Monster Barleywine and imperial stout available in 750 bottles. The pub is easy to find and parking is plentiful. I’ll definitely be making my way back to this one in the future!

This McKenzies had a great interior decor, with a light tone wood and fireplace. The food was mediocre, the service sucked, and quite frankly the beer selection was pedestrian at best. With so many good local brewpubs, I will NOT return here. I’ll leave this location to the yuppie wannabees and sorority girls needing a "starter brewpub".

McKenzie standard ambiance. Ok service. Many servers know little about beer. Decent selection. Average value. I will be back.
