The entrance can fool you. Looks like a mainstream restaurant. The goodies are downstairs! Quite nice bar in the basement. Decent beer selection

Nice bar in the basement. Has a ok small selection of beer. Counted 8 on tap, and abourt 30 on bottle. They do have "Naboen Bayer" on tap, this beer is actually "Aass Bayer" that you can buy in nearest grosery store.

This was a great stop. Right around the corner from Henrik Øl og Vinstove, this place is a worthy stop on any pub crawl in Bergen. There is a restaurant upstairs, but the bar is downstairs, which is cozy and very darkly lit. There are maybe 10 beers on tap, featuring beers from Kinn, Voss, and 7 Fjell. You can do a preset 4-beer sampler for 119NOK or a custom one for 139NOK which is a great feature. Service is helpful and astute, though not overly friendly. There is an extensive bottle list as well featuring mostly Norwegian breweries. Great place.

Don’t be fooled when entering the building and it looks just like a restaurant. Just walk straight ahead and down the stairs and you’ll find the bar. It’s quite dark down there, but cozy in a way. Nice selection of Kinn beers, they even got a Kinn house beer on tap on my two occasions over two years, but the Naboen Bayer is just a regular Aass Bayer who can be found in grocery stores all over southern Norway. Never tried the food here.

Focus on well known scandinavian craftbeer. Selection a bit stale, but perhaps nice for people who are new to scandinavian home brew. Food is decent and fairly priced. Go for the plankstek/plankebiff. A sure winner on the pub-menu!

I visited the pub downstairs. A cozy place, nice furnished and cheerful staff. I also like that they seemed to focus on Norwegian craft breweries. Beers in excellent condition. But, why not admit that their house beer "Naboen Bayer" is the same beer as Aass Bayer? (Visited September 14th 2013)

Et meget bra sted hvis du er interessert i skandinaviske mikrobryggerier. Pluss for at du får smaksprøver. Hyggelig betjening. Har ikke prøvd restauranten på 1.etasje, kun kjelleren.
