Popped in here yesterday to check it out after driving a friend to the Sac Airport. I don’t know Sac well, so I don’t know much about the neighborhood it’s in, but it seemed to be nicely tucked away. Went in and sat at the bar. Spot is spacious, lots of sweet craft beer geekery stuff hanging everywhere, really nice staff, and they have a patio but it was 105 so I was all up in that AC. The Cubano sandwich I had was awesome. Filling, tasted great. As other reviewers have mentioned, make sure you notice that the SOUR MENU IS BEHIND THE BAR. I didn’t notice it at first. They also have a small little bottle shop to the side which I didn’t notice at first with a pretty sweet little selection. They’ll be opening a ’Cellared’ case sometime in the next week as well. The one thing that this spot gets docked on was it’s draft list. For an uber nerd like myself, I usually go to these place to find something I’ve never had before. The general draft list was fairly conventional, and it wasn’t until I noticed the sour list that I found something semi-rare and that I hadn’t had. Regardless, definitely stop in this spot to check it out if you’re in Sac!

Rocking little beer cafe. Mostly picnic style tables inside, with a few smaller tables along the wall, plus an elbow bar with a marble top. Pretty nice tap list, with a Belgian influence. Tap list on a large chalkboard on the right, organized by price. Important to note that they have a separate sour draft list behind the bar. Six sours pouring when I was there. Staff is friendly, free street parking is plentiful. Prices a bit high, but otherwise a list. I did not try the food.

A great tap list that included four sours. Excellent food. Nice location and good service. The (small) bottle shop attached to the cafe has a good variety of domestic and foreign sours and Belgian style brews. Well worth a stop in Sacramento.

Right ion the corner across from Gunthers Ice Cream (solid fucken ice cream).

Sort of a small place with a handful of tables outside on the sidewalk patio. There are some communal tables inside as well as a few seats at the bar.

Draft list is written in chalk in the wall next to the bar, they also have a small sour draft list, but those beers there are all pretty spendy at $9+ a pop. The rest of the regular beers vary in price and pour size. But they do tasting flights and those pours are about $2 each.

Draft list was not anything terribly impressive when I was there, but perhaps some of that was the preponderance of Southern California offerings which I’m used to seeing all the time. But, there were a few things I hadn’t tried before.

They do food service here as well and seem to have a pretty varied and well rounded menu. Food was a bit more expensive than I was looking to have for lunch.

Quite friendly and fast service. More than willing to help me and others out and let people taste a beer if they were unsure about what to order.

Another Sacramento must stop. Nice neighborhood vibe with a slant towards Belgian styles, including six dedicated taps for sours. Very eclectic selection of local and Belgian taps. I’d love to visit again and stay longer.

I like the food/beer combos to be had here, and it’s my traditional favorite. very friendly with nice selection. The sour room next door (and bottle shop) can get a little pricey, but otherwise great.

Stopped in here for lunch and beers over the weekend. Funky corner location with benches for seating, walk-up counter for ordering food. Super friendly guy (drinking a big beer) taking orders. Great selection of beers on tap - Pliny, Speedway, Alpine, etc. Food was really good. Great place.

Stopped in for brunch on Saturday morning. Small place with picnic tables for seating. Order food and beers at the counter. Brunch was pretty good and includes an omelette along with a table of buffet foods. Nice selection of drafts including 10 or so sours. Good service. Bottles in their small bottle shop available to go or for on-site consumption. Worth a stop.

Cool little place in a somewhat hip, residential area of Sacramento. Nice tap list and very good selection of bottles despite being on the small side. I didn’t get any food, but this is a nice relaxing place to have some good beers. Local California beers and Belgians dominate the selection. I’ll try to return next time I’m in the area.
