Funky house with a great vibe. Service was pretty good. Selection of beer was mostly from their son, which is pretty good. Food was fantastic, especially if you like heat, they don’t hold back. Prices were good for the food you get. Overall, worth all the hype.

Stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon while on recent trip to Florida. This place was just what I imagined it would be. Wish I lived in Gulfport. My only complaint was that they had no G.O.O.D. beers! Bartender was very friendly and talkative. Prices seemed a touch high. Will do my best to return. The beers I sampled were excellent.

Cozy little place that reminds of a normal house with just a little bigger backyard. Beers are top notch and the food is really tasty too. Try the chicken burritos or the fish-tacos. Can´t wait to come back here sometime in the future!

Visited: 8-29-12 My wife and I had stopped down here on our recent trip to the Tampa area before the RNC started. We had dined there in between rain bands from Tropical Storm Isaac. A: The place is small and resembles more of a beach house rather than a brewpub. There are about 5-6 tables out front, another 5 tables inside and another 5 tables on the sun porch. The bar area could get crowded but we went on a sunday night in the middle of atropical storm. Q: The quality of the beers were decent for what they had on tap. Every beer we tried was good, served at a decent temperature and in the correct glassware. S: Service was excellent, our waitress was prompt and knowledgeable about the beers and food options, even made some good recommendations too. S: Selection was decent, they had 12 beers on their menu, 4 in house beers, 4 local breweries, 4 national brewers. My only knock on their selection was they had kicked 5 of the 12 kegs and were not replacing because it was a sunday and they close on monday and tuesday...so our options were somewhat limited. F: The food we ordered was decent, definitely fresh and the house made salsa was good. I ordered the Shrimp Burrito and it was good enough. V: Other than the kicked taps, the prices were my other knock on Pegs. Beers seemed to be about 1-2 dollars more than other places with similar beers in the area and food was about 3-4 dollars higher than similar local offerings. Overall, a great place to visit...just dont go on a sunday when the taps are running out and make sure you have cash, as they do not accept credit cards.

Thwe first guy in the staff was a little like distrusting my beer interest but the owners are quite nice people, they lived in my country for a while and are easy people to talk to. The palce is like from a movie at the seashore and is quite true.

Cool, laid-back little restaurant/brewpub located just back from the beach. They didn’t have a massive selection of beer when we visited, but everything tasted pretty great - particularly the lychee berliner! Server was very friendly and attentive. Food was rather delicious. A great place for both food and beer in St Pete area.

Hip little brewpub / restaurant in Gulfport. Good food, good house brewed beers, great atmosphere. A must see if in the Tampa / St. Pete area.....

its a lovely place. unfortunately, the service is abysmal. the first time we went, we moved between three different tables to see if ANYONE would serve us. after 15 minutes we left. later i get a message about "sorry, we were really busy". not an excuse for not even a "be right with you" from a staff member. on another visit, the place was closed on a wednesday afternoon. then this past week was the last straw. we walked up, saw a number of empty tables, and asked about a wait time to be seated. the hostess told us 30-45 minutes. i asked her about the tables that were empty, she said "those are reserved". uhh ok. i went out to the sidewalk to confer with my wife and went back in 5 minutes later. we were told "now its over an hour", despite the fact that maybe 2 couple had walked up in those 5 minutes. i dont care how good the beer is. if your service sucks, its not worth the effort. fuck this place, ill stick with cigar city, rapp, dunedin, seventh sun, etc.
