82 (Visited 01/2015): Rivage is located in downtown Worthington in a plaza on the corner of High and New England. There is a small parking lot in the plaza and street parking in the immediate area, although both can be tough to find during busy times. The main entrance opens to the restaurant, with an upscale decor and booth and table seating. The "Back Room" is where the bar is located, and has its own entrance and a patio. The bar takes up the center of the Back Room, and there are hightop tables around the perimeter. The taps are visible behind the bar, and there are a few TVs. Rivage has 16 beers on tap, including several Ohio breweries like Seventh Son, Land Grant, Homestead, Columbus Brewing and Actual. Other craft breweries like Lagunitas, Founders and Bells. A limited bottled selection as well. Service at the Back Room on my visits has always been personable and efficient. The bartenders cater to a lot of regulars and are always friendly. My food orders at Rivage have typically been small plates and pizza during happy hour, and the prices are frankly great given the quality. Overall this is a nice neighborhood restaurant/bar, and a bonus that it is right next to a couple other good spots like House Wine and Old Bag of Nails. |
